One of the components of the comprehensive interior design in an apartment in the capital’s residential complex “Respublika” is a turnkey designer renovation . It includes a wide range of works that contributed to obtaining an attractive, functional and comfortable space for the owners of the home – a young couple. The use of natural materials with a predominance of black and white colors of the cladding is noteworthy. This corresponds to the developed design project.

The primary task was to use visual features to divide the space into separate zones – the living room and the kitchen. During the renovation work, this was achieved by painting the walls in different colors and using black ceramic inserts in the kitchen.
The arrangement of the kitchen space involves wiring for connecting numerous electrical equipment – an oven, an induction hob, etc. Another important task was to integrate LED lighting to create an alternative option for lighting the local area.
The general renovation work for the kitchen-living room was the installation of oak wooden flooring, puttying and painting the walls, installing sockets, switches and other useful accessories. Behind the sofa in the living area, a black plaster wall was installed, it took time and skill to make it aesthetic.

Although the transparent window provides access to a sufficient amount of natural sunlight, the saturation of which can be adjusted thanks to black Roman curtains with a convenient control mechanism.

This is due to the fact that due to excessive humidity and temperature fluctuations in these rooms, a finish with better resistance to water, steam and heat is required. An important part of the renovation work was the installation of plumbing communications. Concealed sewer pipes were laid, the shower and toilet were connected to the water supply system. High-quality additional equipment was selected for the convenience of residents, including cold and hot water faucets, heated towel rails, sockets, switches, and more.
The black and white interior creates the necessary contrast, which has become a key design decision. It is complemented by individual splashes of other shades, which are traced in plumbing fixtures, accessories, lighting and other details. Thanks to a successful repair, all the necessary hygiene components and household chemicals will always be at hand.
Concluding the review of the complete renovation of an apartment in a Kiev residential complex, the following conclusions can be drawn. The room managed to create a cozy atmosphere, thanks to the thoughtful renovation this achievement became possible using several basic shades. A common line is traced in the decoration of the ceiling, floor and walls, which is locally supplemented with several special components for different zones. All furniture is functional and ergonomic, allowing you to store most things and household appliances in an organized manner.
