Design project of a private house in Bilohorodka

The multi-story building is designed in light colors and has a modern design. Natural materials were used in its development and finishing, and Ukrainian attributes were incorporated at the customers’ request. The large area includes three bedrooms, a children’s room, a spacious kitchen-living room, two bathrooms, and a separate boiler room.

Kitchen-Living Room Design

The kitchen-living room is one of the main areas that combines cooking, relaxation, dining, and entertaining zones. To separate these areas within one room, different finishing materials were used. The interior is dominated by white and brown colors in various shades. The white ceiling (stretch ceiling) combines with the dark floor (wooden parquet).

The cooking area is a separate corner featuring a light kitchen unit. The work surface is located in the corner and divided into two parts. It has separate LED lighting, and integrated induction cooktop and sink. Nearby are other essential kitchen elements: refrigerator, oven, and coffee machine.

Directly next to the kitchen unit is a wooden dining table for five people. It features a classic design, complemented by solid wood chairs with white soft seating. There is also a modern-style table with a white countertop and three high bar stools. In addition to the spotlights in the stretch ceiling, the dining area features three pendant chandeliers with massive clay shades, creating the effect of a traditional Ukrainian home.

A separate area of the kitchen-living room is the relaxation zone, which includes the following elements:

  • corner foldable sofa with soft white upholstery;
  • two wooden tables on three legs next to the sofa;
  • long white shelf under the TV — wooden logs are placed beneath it (for aesthetics);
  • electric fireplace;
  • storage system next to the TV, consisting of four open shelves integrated into the wall.

Under the sofa and coffee table in the living room, there is a rug to protect the parquet floor from being dented by heavy furniture. A floor lamp complements the main spotlights. The interior features various elements of traditional Ukrainian homes — clay jugs, mortars, etc. They harmoniously integrate into the modern style.

Bedroom Design

The bedrooms feature a light brown tonal composition, although they differ in design. One room predominantly features light tones for the walls and furniture, while the other showcases brown shades. Among the standard elements for comfortable rest, the following details can be highlighted:

  • double bed with a high headboard and soft upholstery;
  • wooden nightstands on each side of the bed;
  • additional lighting from hanging chandeliers — one variant in a small modern style, and the other with large gray shades;
  • white wardrobe for storing clothes and other belongings, with closed drawers and an organized system;
  • open shelf on top where a TV is installed, which can be used for placing books, accessories, etc.

The bedrooms have large spacious windows that provide ample natural sunlight. However, when needed, they are covered with curtains and horizontal Roman blinds. The room harmoniously intertwines light and brown colors. There is a dark rug under the bed.

Children’s Room Design

The children’s room is designated as a separate space, meeting the functional needs of a modern teenager. It is decorated in light colors with brown flooring and furniture. Sufficient lighting is provided not only by the main spotlights on the ceiling but also by desk lamps, hanging chandeliers above the bed, and wall sconces with directed light.

The room is divided into zones for relaxation, study, and storage, represented by the following components:

  • double bed with soft white upholstery — provides ample space for restful sleep;
  • two wooden nightstands with closed drawers;
  • brown bean bag chair — an additional option for relaxation;
  • desk with a wooden top without legs and a white chair with a high back next to it;
  • wall-mounted cabinet above the desk — the storage system includes two small open shelves and two spacious drawers with doors;
  • surface under the TV where an aquarium with backlighting is placed, and below is another complete storage area.

A light wardrobe in one corner of the room is used for storing the child’s clothing and shoes. The room has one window, covered with Roman shades and curtains for regulating the intensity of natural light.

Bathrooms and Storage Room

For the family’s convenience, the house has two bathrooms. One of them is fully designed in light brown tones, using wood-styled ceramic tiles. It features a suspended toilet with a bidet, a towel warmer, a shelf with an integrated sink, a mirror, and a bathtub in a special niche with tiles.

The other bathroom features a greater number of dark brown elements. In terms of functionality, it is not much different from the other bathroom, but it has one distinctive feature — there is a shower cabin with transparent doors instead of a bathtub. Thus, the owners can choose when they want to take a shower or relax in the bath.

An important addition to the house is the pantry and laundry room. These rooms allow for compact storage of various supplies, including placing a washing machine, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, clothes, shoes, cleaning supplies, etc. Besides functionality and light colors in the interior, it is important to note the Ukrainian line traced through traditional decorative elements.
