Design project of the «French Quarter» residential complex

The interior and design of the apartment were planned with the needs of a family with children in mind. Thanks to the careful and diligent work of specialists, it was possible to transform the space into a cozy family nest where each family member will feel comfortable. The composition features gentle pastel colors—cream, light brown, gray.

Kitchen Design

In the kitchen, the main focus is on the use of light colors. The walls, kitchen furniture, and sofa are decorated in a cream shade. The color palette is complemented by brown wooden cabinets and parquet flooring of the same shade.

The kitchen set has a wide countertop made of white stone, integrated with an induction stove and a sink with a faucet. Above this area, there are cabinets for storing various kitchen utensils that may be needed. One wall features an integrated oven, and the set includes LED lighting for better visibility.

In another part of the kitchen is a table with a white stone countertop and black legs. It can be set for four people, for whose comfortable seating there are four gray chairs. Above the dining area is a pendant light with a black frame and directed spots.

If needed, you can relax in the kitchen, as there is a small soft sofa in the side area of the room. Next to it is a small table where you can place a cup of coffee or tea and set a book. Above the sofa is an air conditioner.

Parents’ Bedroom Interior

The master bedroom (for parents) continues the theme of light design. The white cream color is the main shade in the decoration of the walls and floor, complemented by a brown wall above the bed. For comfortable rest, the room features a double bed with white upholstery. Additionally, the room includes the following elements:

  • two small bedside tables with backlighting;
  • a television with a convenient white stand underneath;
  • a dressing table with a rectangular mirror;
  • a gray chair with a high back.

For local lighting, in addition to spotlights on the wall above the bed, there are four hanging sconces. The window is fitted with dark curtains, allowing the control of sunlight entering the bedroom, preventing waking up in the morning due to strong rays of the sun in the face.

Children’s Bedrooms

As mentioned, the family has two children. Separate bedrooms were created for them, which, although similar in furniture filling, differ in color schemes. One room features blue wall decor alongside white and brown colors, while the other features light green.

In each children’s bedroom, the following components are present:

  • a single bed in white color (matching the wall color with green or blue bedding);
  • a wardrobe and shelf for storing books, magazines, textbooks, etc., above the bed;
  • a dressing table with three closed drawers, a small mirror, and a pouf next to it;
  • a white desk with two closed drawers underneath and a computer chair;
  • a hanging shelf near the desk in white and brown colors.

In addition to spot lighting on the ceiling, pendant or desk lamps for local lighting are integrated into each area (desk, shelves, dressing table, bed). One wall featuring the television is decorated in brown color, harmoniously combining with other shade compositions of the children’s bedrooms. The window near the desk can be curtained for comfortable studying.

Bathroom and Corridor Design

In the bathroom, the general concept of light decoration is evident. The walls and sanitary appliances are white, complemented by light brown furniture and flooring. The apartment owners have access to a spacious shower room, providing enough space for several people to be present simultaneously (important for a large family).

Additionally, the bathroom features a hanging toilet, a towel warmer, and a spacious brown vanity integrated with a sink. Above the sink is a large round mirror with LED backlighting, next to which are integrated niches in the wall for storing shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, aromatic sticks, and other items needed in the bathroom.

While the corridor is not a full-fledged room, it contains everything necessary for owners or guests to feel comfortable from the first moments of their stay. Near the entrance door are three hooks for outerwear, a pouf for easy shoe removal. There is also a large mirror for checking appearance before going outside. Near the mirror is a small shelf for placing various small items—keys, shoe care products, etc.

Additional Rooms

A large family has a lot of clothing, shoes, various household appliances, and items. Therefore, separate dressing rooms are equipped in the apartment for adult family members and children. There is enough space for storing outerwear and other items on the shelves. The rooms are also decorated in light colors and have shelf lighting.

However, this useful space is not limited to that. For household needs, there is a pantry, so family members do not need to clutter the balcony with boxes, trash, or canned goods. The system of shelves and drawers promotes organized storage of items, allowing for quick access to needed elements. Finally, let’s highlight the laundry room. It contains not only a washing machine integrated into a wall niche but also an ironing board, a towel dryer, and even a separate toilet.

The apartment in modern style has a maximally functional interior. It is designed for the needs of a large family. Light colors do not overload the eyes, and there is a common line throughout each room, although this does not detract from the unique decor of the rooms. Thus, both adults and children will feel comfortable and have their own corner.
