A modern apartment in the Warsaw Plus residential complex has a compact area of 38.33 m². Given the lack of free space, the emphasis was placed on functionality, minimal filling with unnecessary furniture and other elements that do not carry a useful load. The color scheme is based on the use of universal light shades – white, brown, cream.
Modern design includes the use of natural materials, cold LED lighting and smart technologies (control of lighting and other components through a smartphone application). Instead of oversized, massive chandeliers, spotlights integrated into the ceiling are preferred.
Usable space consists of the following premises:
The central space in the apartment is the kitchen-living room, which combines functional areas for preparing and consuming food, relaxing, and receiving guests. It is complemented by other rooms that create a harmonious space. Next, we will focus on the design of each room.
Due to the lack of precious square meters in the presented apartment, the kitchen was combined with the living room in one room. The designer’s task was to use visual tools to divide the space into separate zones. We managed to cope with this task, the kitchen area has a darker design (cream color) than the living room (white).
The following elements can be distinguished in the room:
A 65-inch LCD TV hangs on the wall in front of the sofa in the living room. It is on the wall with a special white design, which differs from the standard colors in the rest of the room. Also on one wall hangs a picture decorated in a modern metaphorical style (a monkey in headphones).
For harmonious, pleasant lighting around the perimeter, spotlights are built into the stretch ceiling. In addition, a minimalist black hanging lamp is located above the dining table. Some areas have LED lighting, in particular the kitchen set. A transparent door leads from the living room-kitchen to the workroom.
If you need to retire and work productively, a special room is set aside for this purpose. Although it has a small area of 3.25 m², functional equipment made it really useful. Separation from the living room-kitchen by a panoramic window and glass door allows you to see what is happening around.
Among the components of the work cabinet, the following can be distinguished:
The office has an efficient design, in which ergonomics and thoughtfulness play a key role. Light colors and a nearby window make it possible to maximally saturate the space with natural light, which will contribute to increased efficiency. There are no extra elements in the room that could distract from work and clutter the space.
Cream-colored TORANO BEIGE ceramic tiles were used to decorate the walls in the bathroom. Bathroom is equipped with all modern elements, namely:
The compact arrangement of the elements allows two people to use the bathroom at the same time. It was possible to save free space thanks to the rejection of the overall bathroom in favor of an ergonomic shower cabin. It provides everything necessary for the cleanliness of the body, the implementation of daily hygiene procedures.
Floor roomthe cream color of the walls is protected against ingress of moisture and temperature fluctuations. White doors with metal fittings separate the bathroom from other rooms in the apartment, allowing you to spend time alone. Spotlights and LED strips are used for lighting.
The Hallroom in the presented apartment, although it is a small room with an area of 3.82 m², plays an extremely important role. It is with him that the guests will get to know first, so the room should be stylishly decorated and functional. For the first task, the white colors of the floor and walls were used. For the second task, functional furniture was added to the room, which is represented by the following elements:
Several classic white doors separate the hall from the other rooms. They allow guests not to see what is happening in the living room until they enter it. This is an important moment for realizing personal space.
Due to the limited space in the presented apartment, it was not possible to install oversized wardrobes. For compactness, a dressing room is equipped on a separate area of 2.33 m². Wardrobe is used for ergonomic storage of various shoes and clothes of all family members, guests of the house.
The same Vitality Medium Ideal Natural Oak vinyl coating was used for the floor in the dressing room under the wood as in the living room-kitchen. Other components include open shelves with metal pipes for placing outerwear, closed drawers for underwear and accessories, baskets, and shoe racks.
The space is designed in such a way that the user can quickly find the right clothes or shoes. Comfort and functionality – that’s what the attention was focused on in this room and its isolation fully justified itself.
natural materials were used to create a harmonious interior – environmentally friendly coatings, Paradyz tiles, vinyl flooring. The color scheme is calm, with neutral pastel colors without bright elements. Minimalist design with functional furniture and lights integrated into the ceiling.
In order to meet modern standards, modern technologies are integrated into the premises – RGB LED lighting, smartphone control, air conditioning. The designers managed to create a light and relaxed atmosphere in which the people living in the apartment will be comfortable to rest, work, receive guests, store things, take a shower and perform other everyday tasks.
The interior of each room is thought out to the smallest detail, including lighting, placement of furniture and plumbing. Therefore, it will be convenient for people to be here, despite only 38.33 m² of living space, which is determined by the layout of the apartment in the Varshavsky Plus residential complex.
