Office space visualization

The modern office is a place where a person spends a significant portion of their life. They need not just a functional space for work, but also a room with a cozy atmosphere. That’s why we have worked extensively on part of the design project. It is created for companies that want to provide their employees with comfortable and elegant working conditions. In such an environment, each person’s productivity can significantly increase, contributing to achieving corporate goals.

General Concept of Office Space

To create a comfortable office space where one can spend the entire day productively, we have considered several key points:

  1. Natural lighting. Large panoramic windows allow more sunlight into the room. If the outside temperature is too high, horizontal blinds can help adjust the shading.
  2. Open space. The office should not be overcrowded with furniture. It’s important to leave enough free space for employees to move around freely, and even do exercises if needed.
  3. Spacious desks. Communication between employees is essential in an office space. When each worker is isolated by partitions, interaction becomes difficult. That’s why our design project includes large desks for four to six people, allowing them to freely exchange ideas and efficiently execute tasks.

Our office space is well-organized to promote individual productivity. However, the concept is based on each worker feeling like part of a team, with efficient interaction among colleagues. There is ample natural light and open space. There are no overly bright colors or excessive elements that could distract workers from their tasks.

Lighting System Features

In lighting the wide office space, we abandoned traditional chandeliers and incandescent lamps, which seem inappropriate and outdated in a modern interior. They have been replaced with LED spotlights. Six black rectangular structures hang from the ceiling, forming a strong frame for housing numerous directional spotlights.

Each spotlight illuminates a specific area without over-saturating the space. Additionally, long LED lights are used above the desks. Cold light is used as it’s proven to be less straining on the eyes and more productive for work compared to warmer color temperatures.

Office workers can use desk lamps to locally illuminate work surfaces if needed. Three large windows provide sufficient sunlight, reducing the need for artificial lighting for most of the working day. This is a crucial factor for energy-saving, benefiting office owners.

Furniture and Other Elements

We have already emphasized the presence of a shared table in the interior. The key furniture features of the office space are as follows:

  • A large modern black table – designed to accommodate four people, suitable for meetings, conferences, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative work.
  • Several individual desks with white tops – they are divided by small partitions, but employees can still communicate with each other.
  • Soft brown and black office chairs – they ensure comfortable spinal positioning, reducing back strain during long hours of work. The wheels allow easy movement of the chair across the space.
  • A small bookshelf for storing books, magazines, work materials, etc. – it provides organized storage of essential materials or office documentation in one place.

The furniture zone is located in one part of the office, leaving the other half open. This creates a clear division between work areas and other spaces. Of course, office owners can add more furniture, lighting fixtures, and other items as needed. Each employee can personalize their workstation to enhance their productivity.

Conclusions Regarding Our Design Project

A modern office space in high-tech style focuses more on functional interior elements than on attractive colors or luxurious furniture. Every item in the space should primarily contribute to comfortable work and be user-friendly. In our office design project, the dominant colors are white, brown, and black.

Green zones scattered throughout the office brighten the otherwise traditional color scheme. We consider indoor plants essential because, without them, the space would look bland and monotonous. There is no need to use artificial bright colors.

The elements in the office space have standard rectangular or square shapes. There’s no need to use complex geometric forms that could over-saturate the space. There shouldn’t be structures that distract workers or lower their concentration. The office design project is a comprehensive solution with great potential for practical use in modern Ukrainian offices across various corporations.
