The apartment, covering 67 sq.m, is decorated using classic colors – white, cream, brown, and their variations. The minimalist composition helps create a cozy interior that feels spacious. The functionality of the furniture in each room also played a significant role.
The apartment’s overall space includes eight functional rooms, including a kitchen (18 sq.m), two bedrooms (13 and 10 sq.m), a hallway (6 sq.m), as well as two bathrooms, a corridor, and a loggia. For the flooring in most rooms, except one bathroom, light brown vinyl tiles from Berry Alloc Dream Click were used. In one room, cream-colored Modena ceramic tiles were installed. The floor is additionally styled with a duropolymer baseboard measuring 80*15 mm.
The ceiling is decorated with a white stretch ceiling, and moisture-resistant coating was used in the bathrooms. The wall design features diversity, with seven different stylization options used:
Muted colors dominate the decor, with furniture, accessories, and various knickknacks used to add vibrant accents. The interior features straight geometric shapes, and the design is completed with lighting fixtures, outlets, appliances, and other elements for comfortable living.
For separating rooms, it is recommended to use white matte doors by “Papa Carlo” with a black matte handle. The door panel size is 700 or 800 mm by 2000 mm. There are five doors in the specification. Instead of doors, visual transitions using finishing techniques are employed to highlight different zones.
The interior is generally not overly furnished to maintain an open space. Among the furniture, the following elements stand out:
The color design of the furniture follows the overall concept – muted pastel tones harmonizing with the shades of the walls, ceiling, and floor. The furniture is modern in style, made of durable, wear-resistant materials. Functionality is a key element, enabling effective task execution.
The modern lighting system avoids large chandeliers and incandescent lamps. Instead, small, integrated elements are used. Among them are single and double LED lights, track and ceiling lights, and wall sconces. Additionally, LED strips and LED lighting are used.
The lighting system uses cool white light. This option was chosen because cool light is less straining on the eyes during extended use and helps improve productivity. These characteristics are backed by scientific studies, which is why warm lighting is gradually being replaced in interior designs.
For efficient lighting control, single- and double-key switches are installed throughout the apartment. This allows for effective adjustment of brightness levels. During the day, curtains on the windows let in the necessary amount of sunlight. The placement of sockets and switches is calculated according to safety standards.
The developed concept provides homeowners with the following benefits:
The design concept is developed to ensure that the interior remains appealing and relevant for years. Trends in interior design change annually, with modernism giving way to high-tech, art deco, and others. However, a classic color palette and minimalist design are always in demand due to their versatility.
